Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sundown). They put the hurt on the Smyer Bobcats with a sharp 16-10 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Roughnecks as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Sundown's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Smyer, they moved to 8-8 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sundown will challenge rival Post at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Smyer is set to square off against their familiar foe Morton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
