While it was all tied up 19-19 at halftime, St. Edward was not quite High Plains' equal in the second half on Monday. They were beaten by the Storm 64-24. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, St. Edward couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Fullerton on the road against Heartland Lutheran on Saturday as the team secured a 48-21 win. 48 seems to be a good number for Fullerton as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Fullerton's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Nolan Dubas, who scored 17 points along with six steals, and Kane Wetovick, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Dubas is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Terrick Gonsior was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds.
St. Edward has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Fullerton, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-10.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: St. Edward have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 24.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Fullerton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.2 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
St. Edward suffered a grim 64-43 defeat to Fullerton when the teams last played back in January. Now that St. Edward knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
