Clover Garden School's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 72-51 walloping at the hands of Chatham Charter.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Eno River ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Roxboro Community and snuck past 74-72. With that victory, Eno River brought their scoring average up to 50.6 points per game.
Wade Clough had an outrageously good game as he scored 22 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Cole Creedle, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Clover Garden School has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Eno River, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.
Clover Garden School didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Eno River in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 47-41 win.
