Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cabell Midland). They came out on top against the Hurricane Redskins by a score of 99-90 on Tuesday. The Knights pushed the score to 78-55 by the end of the third, a deficit the Redskins cut but never quite recovered from.

Cabell Midland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Marshall Summers out in front who posted 25 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Summers a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Blackburn, who earned 18 points.

The win got Cabell Midland back to even at 6-6. As for Hurricane, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Cabell Midland will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Spring Valley at 7:00 p.m. Spring Valley will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Cabell Midland surely won't give up without a fight. Hurricane has already played their next contest (against Huntington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
