Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Alexandria). They claimed a resounding  56-13 win over the Ashville Bulldogs. The Valley Cubs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 27  points or more this season.
 Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Jb Potter, who threw for 112 yards and one  TD, and also rushed for 60 yards.  Jrey Colley also helped with two scores in total.
The  victory (which was Alexandria's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. The  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 48.8 points over those games. As for Ashville,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at four games  and leaves them with a 5-2 record.
 Alexandria wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  matchup,  a  36-28  victory against Cherokee County on the 17th. As for Ashville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  24-23  win against Hokes Bluff on the 17th.
