The Warsaw Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their tenth straight loss. They took a hard 55-39 fall against Cole Camp. While losing is never fun, Warsaw can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 459th, while Cole Camp is ranked 137th).
Warsaw lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Logan Gemes, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. Noah Siebert was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Warsaw bumped their record down to 2-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Cole Camp, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warsaw will face off against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cole Camp, they will head out on the road to square off against Russellville at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
