If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Edgewood-Colesburg. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Lisbon at 7:00 PM. Edgewood-Colesburg are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Lisbon are stumbling in off of five consecutive losses.
Edgewood-Colesburg were able to grind out a solid win over Maquoketa Valley last Friday, winning 21-7.
Meanwhile, Lisbon came up short against Alburnett, falling 21-35.
Edgewood-Colesburg's victory lifted them to 4-1 while Lisbon's defeat dropped them down to 0-5. We'll see if Edgewood-Colesburg's success rolls on or if Lisbon are able to steal their positive momentum.
