Softball Recap: Winters Mill Extends Winning Streak to Three

Winters Mill had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Hereford Bulls as they made off with an 18-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2018.

Winters Mill let Natalie Furr and Addison Lohr run wild. Furr went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple, while Lohr went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs Furr has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelyn Longreen, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Winters Mill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hereford only posted an OBP of .300.

Winters Mill's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Hereford, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

As of now, neither Winters Mill nor the Bulls have any future games scheduled.
