There's no place like home for Acadiana Home School Athletics, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Everything went their way against the Christian Home Educators Fellowship Patriots on Thursday as the Acadiana Home School Athletics Commandos made off with a 5-1 win. Considering the Commandos have won three matches by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Christian Home Educators Fellowship with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from David Marcantel (2), Nathan Mayeaux, Anthony Labbe, and Leo Mader.

Acadiana Home School Athletics' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three games. As for Christian Home Educators Fellowship, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Acadiana Home School Athletics and Christian Home Educators Fellowship will both be playing Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool the next time they take the pitch. Christian Home Educators Fellowship will host Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Acadiana Home School Athletics will host them on Monday.
