Noble-Whitley Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took down Angola HomeSchool 75-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Noble-Whitley Warriors was led to victory by Caidyn Berna and Colt Kirkpatrick. Berna dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds, while Kirkpatrick dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Kirkpatrick's 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Grason Haney, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
The win was the third in a row for Noble-Whitley Warriors, bringing their record for this year to 11-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Angola HomeSchool, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Noble-Whitley Warriors will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Kokomo HomeSchool at 2:00 p.m. Hopefully Kokomo HomeSchool focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 two weeks ago. Angola HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Benton HomeSchool at 8:45 p.m. on February 9th.
