After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Whitehall, the East Stroudsburg North Timberwolves were happy to have found some success on Monday. They came out on top against Mt. St. Michael Academy by a score of 61-54.
East Stroudsburg North had a senior duo take command as Bryceson Dobie dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds and Nate Wilder scored 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Wilder hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. Wayne King was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.
East Stroudsburg North is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Mt. St. Michael Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
East Stroudsburg North will head out on the road to challenge Pocono Mountain East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pocono Mountain East is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak. As for Mt. St. Michael Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Cross at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Holy Cross focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Sunday.
