The Ramah Mustangs lost against the To'hajiilee Warriors back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Ramah's rough 62-41 defeat to To'hajiilee might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ramah in their matchups with To'hajiilee: they've now lost four in a row.
To'hajiilee found their leader in underclassman Khyran Guerro , who scored 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Guerro has scored at least 25% of To'hajiilee's points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Belone , who scored 11 points.
Ramah's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for To'hajiilee, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ramah and Alamo Navajo will face off at 4:00 p.m. on December 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. To'hajiilee and Pine Hill will face off at 4:00 p.m. on December 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
