Maya Barajas Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Orestimba's Maya Barajas, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Barajas rushed for 101 yards. She got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 55 yards.
Orestimba has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Barajas and Orestimba will take on Sonora at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Escalon Gets a Boost from Velasco in 24-6 Victory
Arianna Velasco was instrumental in extending Escalon's winning streak to three on Wednesday. Sonora had no answer to Velasco as she threw for 69 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of her passes.
Escalon is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. Velasco and Escalon will face off against Hilmar at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Leah Hobby was a major factor in Hughson's win over Hilmar on Wednesday. Hobby was dynamite, throwing for 209 yards and five touchdowns.
Hughson pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Hobby and Hughson will face off against Ripon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Jasmine Barron Makes It Two for Escalon
The second Escalon player making an appearance here is Jasmine Barron, and for good reason. She picked up 50 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 39 yards.
Unfortunately for Sonora, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Barron. Back in September (the last time Barron saw the Wildcats), she picked up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown.

Presley Wells Makes It Two for Hughson
Another Hughson player making an appearance on this list is Presley Wells. She picked up 50 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 65 yards on only eight carries.
