The contest was a 3-3 toss-up at halftime, but St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute couldn't answer the 20 points Bishop Timon-St. Jude scored afterwards.
Bishop Timon-St. Jude's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dominic Anzalone led the charge by throwing for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Gerald Mccloud got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Bishop Timon-St. Jude, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute will head out on the road to face off against Canisius at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
