Wesley Yarbrough Dazzles in Crosby Victory
Starting off the list is Crosby's Wesley Yarbrough, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Yarbrough rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also picked up 61 receiving yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 138 rushing yards.
The win (which was Crosby's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Yarbrough and Crosby will take on La Porte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

La Porte Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Tyresse Barnes
Tyresse Barnes's big game helped extend La Porte's winning streak to four on Thursday. Barnes was unstoppable, rushing for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
Unfortunately for Porter, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Barnes. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Barnes saw the Spartans), he rushed for 180 yards while picking up 10.0 yards per carry.

A Season-Best Performance from Wyatt Neyland Leads Angleton over Kingwood Park
On Friday, Angleton got the W thanks in part to Wyatt Neyland playing the best football he has all season. Neyland rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also caught a touchdown.
The win for Angleton keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats faces off against Fort Bend Kempner at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Zechariah Jammer's big game helped extend Angleton's winning streak to seven on Friday. Kingwood Park had no answer to Jammer as he rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
