Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nixa). Everything went their way against the Carthage Tigers on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-1 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

With the victory, Nixa broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-5. As for Carthage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.

Nixa didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Joplin on the 16th. As for Carthage, they will venture away from home to challenge Waynesville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
