Parkview won the last time they faced Berkmar and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Parkview Panthers claimed a resounding 65-9 win over the Berkmar Patriots. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Parkview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kennedi Benton led the charge by putting up 14 points and six steals. Benton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aziza Smith, who went 7 for 10 en route to 14 points.

Parkview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive matchups.

Parkview's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Berkmar, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Parkview Panthers face off against the Peachtree Ridge Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Berkmar, they will face off against Norcross at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Norcross will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Berkmar surely won't give up without a fight.
