The Madison-Grant Argylls's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 59-39 loss at the hands of Mississinewa. Madison-Grant lost against Mississinewa in their previous head to head two weeks ago, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 62-29 score last time.
Madison-Grant's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Katie Stowers, who scored 12 points along with three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Moore, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Madison-Grant's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 5-10. As for Mississinewa, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Tipton the next time they take the court. Mississinewa will host Tipton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Madison-Grant will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
