Triway is on  a  four-game streak of home wins, while Elyria Catholic is on  a  12-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Titans will host the Panthers  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Triway is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1  runs per game  this season.
On Wednesday, Triway beat Northwest 11-7.
Triway got a  massive  performance out of  Kenzie Gatti, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Myah Lester, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs and one  double.
 Triway  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwest struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, Elyria Catholic earned  a  9-5 victory over Holy Name  on Wednesday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Green Wave recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.
 Harper Morgan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Kailey Tomasch was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Paytin Baehr was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 Triway has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Elyria Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 17-0.
 Both Triway and Elyria Catholic just can't seem to miss. The Titans have been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 11.6  hits per game. However, it's not like Elyria Catholic struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 4.8  hits.
