Volleyball Recap: Tri-City Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

There's no place like home for Tri-City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Calvary Christian Academy Knights by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tornadoes as it spelled an end to their 13-match losing streak.

Tri-City easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21.

Tri-City was led to victory by Rayleigh Gilbraith and Gentrie Earles. Gilbraith had nine digs, while Earles had nine assists and three digs. That's the most assists Earles has posted over her last two contests.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-13. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Tri-City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Bunker Hill on the 18th. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Blue Ridge on the 18th.
