The L'Anse Purple Hornets won the last time they faced the Dollar Bay Bays, and things went their way on Thursday too. L'Anse took down Dollar Bay 57-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for L'Anse.
Despite the defeat, Dollar Bay had strong showings from Adelyn Swain, who scored 15 points, and Kiera Isaacson, who scored four points along with five rebounds. Swain is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight.
L'Anse now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Dollar Bay, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
L'Anse will be playing at home against Lake Linden-Hubbell at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Dollar Bay, they will head out on the road to square off against Watersmeet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
