The KIPP Legacy Lions lost against the Indianapolis Washington Continentals back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. KIPP Legacy took a serious blow against Indianapolis Washington, falling 65-10. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points KIPP Legacy has scored all season.
Indianapolis Washington got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Michelle Martin out in front who scored 12 points along with nine steals. Another player making a difference was Ta'Laya Peterson, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
KIPP Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Indianapolis Washington, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
KIPP Legacy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Indiana Math & Science Academy North at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Indianapolis Washington, they will head out on the road to square off against Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
