The Koliganek Huskies came into Friday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took their match on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-15 victory over Aleknagik. That 33 point margin sets a new team best for Koliganek this season.
Koliganek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tristan Goodell led the charge by scoring 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goodell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Asante Barnes, who scored 13 points.
Koliganek's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. As for Aleknagik, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.
Koliganek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 87-83 victory vs. Manokotak on the 10th. Aleknagik does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
