Superior waltzed into their game on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They skirted past the Bemidji Lumberjacks 48-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spartans have posted since February 10, 2024.

Superior's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points over those games. As for Bemidji, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Superior will host Menomonie at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bemidji, they will challenge Park Rapids at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Park Rapids knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Bemidji likes a good challenge.
