Lincoln had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 84-51 victory over the Gregori Jaguars. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 20 points or more this season.
Lincoln had a senior duo take command as Donez Lindsey almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine assists and Anthony Moore went 9-for-18 en route to 22 points along with five boards and three steals. Moore's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Dilan Fanucchi was another key player, going 6-for-10 to rack up 12 points and six rebounds.
The win (which was Lincoln's fourth in a row) raised their record to 26-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.2 points. As for Gregori, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-6.
Coming up, Lincoln will square off against Monterey Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Monterey Trail's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. Gregori does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
