Hills Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Micah Pugh led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. Pugh hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Siar Francis, who scored 17 points along with 9 steals.
Covington Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Hills Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
