After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, The Churchill Chargers brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Everything went their way against Marshall on Friday as Churchill made off with a 42-21 win. The win was just what Churchill needed coming off of a 38-0 loss in their prior contest.
Churchill's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harold Releford, who rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Hunter Pavlicek also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Churchill now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Marshall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Churchill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Marshall will head out on the road to face off against SA Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
