The biggest upset of the week belonged to Ransom Everglades, who took down 437th ranked Ransom Everglades, 24-10.
LaSalle was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to first in Southeastern - South. The Royal Lions vanquished Miami Country Day 10-7 earlier in the week.
Florida Christian's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. JJ Burmeister threw for 36 and one touchdown and Michael Erwin had 36 yards receiving. On the ground Kenrry  Tejedor chipped in 179 yards.
The Spartans' Michael Fente and Sam Cohen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Fente has thrown for 367 yards this season, while Cohen, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 18 catches for 226 yards. The Patriots' Tejedor leads the league in rushing yards with 377.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Coral Shores takes on Florida Christian. At the moment, the Hurricanes are in third, while the Patriots are in second.
There should be lots of points scored when Coral Shores and Florida Christian face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Ed Holly's team comes in having scored 80 this season, while the Patriots have scored 83. The Hurricanes scored 7 points last week as they lost to Pine Crest.
LaSalle moved up to 353 from 416 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Southeastern - South. The Royal Lions were able to make the jump by beating Miami Country Day 10-7.
