Providence School's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Janai Jordan, who went 8 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jordan has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Julianna Baskin, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds.
Mckenzie Mabry and Gabi Iturralde certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Mabry scored ten points, while Iturralde scored 13 points along with five steals. Iturralde hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Beyer, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points per game. As for Tocoi Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence School will take on Trinity Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 536th, while Providence School is ranked 24th). As for Tocoi Creek, they will head out on the road to challenge Atlantic Coast at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Atlantic Coast knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully Tocoi Creek likes a good challenge.
