The Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers will venture away from home to  face off against the Penns Valley Area Rams  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hollidaysburg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4  runs per game  this season.
Last Tuesday, Hollidaysburg narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past Clearfield  8-7. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Golden Tigers.
 Brady Steiner made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Josh Banks was a standout: he scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Jay Albarano, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Penns Valley Area was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  12-6 to Bellwood-Antis. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by  exactly six  runs.
 Hollidaysburg pushed their record up to 4-1 with the  win, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Penns Valley Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
 Hollidaysburg took their  win against Penns Valley Area  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Tigers since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
