The biggest upset of the week belonged to Greenville, who took down 109th ranked Cedar Springs, 49-20.
Northview extended the longest winning streak in Ottawa-Kent - Bronze this week by beating Forest Hills Northern, 21-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Northview's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Robbie Meadows threw for 103 and one touchdown and Chad Walton had 70 yards receiving. On the ground Brandon Lawrence chipped in 119 yards. Blake Bockheim helped Northview's passing attack out by catching three balls for 23 yards.
Northview's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Meadows has thrown for 370 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Walton has 10 catches for 218 yards. Lawrence leads the league in rushing with 731 yards.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Yellowjackets take on Greg Ganfield's team. Greenville has allowed 92 points this season, while the Wildcats have given up 77.
Dave Moore's team moved up to 103 from 179 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Yellowjackets climbed the ranks as a result of a 49-20 win over the Red Hawks.
