Baseball Recap: Trumbull's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Trumbull extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 7-1 in the process. They beat the West Haven Blue Devils by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-1. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

As for West Haven, they dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since June 1, 2024.

For West Haven's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Price, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double. Connor Hume also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Coming up, Trumbull is taking a road trip to challenge McMahon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Haven will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' game: after the Eagles face off against Notre Dame Prep, they'll take on West Haven again at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
