The Greenbrier Bobcats waltzed into their game Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 62-38 margin over Christian Community. Considering Greenbrier has won four matchups by more than 22 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Nolan Carson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Greenbrier's points. Another player making a difference was Mack Scurlock, who scored ten points along with six assists.
Greenbrier has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Christian Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Greenbrier won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hendersonville at 11:30 a.m. on December 29th. Hendersonville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Christian Community is on the road again on Saturday and play against White House-Heritage at 2:30 p.m. on December 30th.
