The Marlboro County Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Camden 72-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Marlboro County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ivor Miles led the charge by scoring 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nori Adams, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Marlboro County's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Camden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marlboro County will challenge the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake City is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home. As for Camden, they will head out on the road to challenge the Knights at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Crestwood will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.
