Clay City extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 5-7 in the process. Trey Dayhoff was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Dayhoff was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Wyatt Johnson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double.
