Watauga found their leader in sophomore Caroline Childers, who had 20 digs and five aces. Childers is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season. Rae Coffey also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.
Forbush's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Watauga, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.
Coming up, Forbush will challenge Starmount at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Watauga, they will square off against A.L. Brown at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
