Robert Lee Turns in Season-Best Performance
Robert Lee produced his most outstanding game to date while leading West Chicago to the win on Friday. Lee rushed for 301 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
Lee is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Fenton on Thursday. When Lee last faced the Bison back in September of 2023, he rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns.

Luke Melendez Delivers Electric Effort Vs Fenton
While Luke Melendez delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Ridgewood. Nobody could stop Melendez as he picked up 127 receiving yards and two touchdowns. His longest reception was for an incredible 79 yards.
If the past is any indication, Melendez could be in store for another big game when he takes on Elmwood Park on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Melendez saw the Tigers), he picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Tommy Doyle Makes It Two for West Chicago
The second West Chicago player making an appearance here is Tommy Doyle, and for good reason. He rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also picked up 72 receiving yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making two total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
