Destiny Christian is ranked highly in their home state and   on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Abundant Life. The Wildcats were the clear victors by  an  18-3 margin over the Owls. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by eight  runs or more this season.
 Zoey Landers made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   four  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in seven consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news, Destiny Christian let  Lily McCutchan and  Rae Whomble run wild. McCutchan  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Whomble  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. Those  three  RBI gave  McCutchan a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rian Tipton, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Destiny Christian  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in 13 consecutive  matchups.
Destiny Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Abundant Life,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-9.
 Coming up, Destiny Christian will square off against Garrett Memorial Christian at 7:15  p.m.  on Saturday. The Saints will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. Abundant Life does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
