After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ajo, Heritage Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the New Way Learning Academy Bulldogs a 19-0 shutout. With that victory, the Heroes brought their scoring average up to 8 runs per game.
Maverik Ray was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched.
