Leipsic extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping them up to 7-5. They put the hurt on the Elmwood Royals with a sharp 8-1 victory. Considering the Vikings have won six games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Elmwood, they dropped their record down to 5-7-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
