Adding to the longest winning streak in 8A District 8 this week, Vero Beach beat Santaluces 30-29. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Vero Beach and the Chiefs played the closest game in the league this week, with Vero Beach eventually emerging with a 30-29 victory. Dalton Stokes threw for 290 yards and 2 touchdowns during the win.
Lenny Jankowski's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Jason pierre chipped in 55 yards. Ryan Hiser helped Vero Beach's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 63 yards.

Stokes put up the best numbers through the air as the Indians defeated Santaluces. Stokes' favorite target this week was Jimmy Williamson, who caught 7 passes for 78 yards.
Vero Beach's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Stokes has thrown for 2,220 yards and 22 touchdowns this season, while Williamson has 38 catches for 586 yards.
