The Vasquez Mustangs are taking a road trip to  face off against the Desert Christian Academy Conquerors  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Desert Christian Academy is hoping to do what Desert Chapel couldn't  on Friday: put an end to Vasquez's winning streak, which now stands at four games. Vasquez took their  game on the road  with ease, bagging  a  41-6 victory over Desert Chapel. 41 seems to be a good number for the Mustangs as the  team scooped up a  win with the same number of  points in their previous game.
  Nathan Sanchez had a dynamite game for Vasquez, rushing for 129 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. The dominant performance gave  Sanchez a new career-high in  rushing yards.  Zach Chambers was another key player, rushing for 63 yards and a touchdown.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: Vasquez was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 474  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 221  rushing yards in four consecutive  matches.

 Vasquez now  has a winning record of 4-3. As for Desert Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home.
 Friday's   matchup might be decided in the on the ground. Vasquez has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 281  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Desert Christian Academy struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 285.6. It's looking like  Friday's  game might have some serious battles in the trenches.
