Murphy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kinley Simmons, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Bryan Jackson, who scored 10 points.
UMS-Wright Prep has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Murphy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
