The biggest upset of the week belonged to Greenville, who took down 147th ranked Carlinville, 42-20.
Litchfield scaled the state rankings by moving to 393 from 460 this week, the biggest jump in South Central. The Purple Panthers climbed the ranks as a result of topping Southwestern 30-15.
The Cavaliers' dynamic duo of Joeb Easterday and T.J. Gray proved to be unstoppable against the Comets, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Easterday threw for 84 yards and Gray had 50 yards receiving.

Gray was the best wideout in the league this week as Chad Easterday's team lost to Todd Hutchinson's team.
Blake Vandiver was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 19 carries, he ran for 133 yards as Roxana fell to the Comets. Teammate Logan Reardon added to the ground attack by rushing for 111 yards.
Seth Chester made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Shells lost to Hillsboro. The 5-foot-7 junior recorded 2 fumbles.
Vandiver provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Roxana lost to the Hilltoppers.
Easterday put up the best numbers through the air as Carlinville lost to Greenville.
Staunton's Jake Bruhn and Marcus Sitko have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading South Central in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Bruhn has thrown for 305 yards this season, while Sitko has 8 catches for 190 yards. Kinney Myles from the Cavaliers leads the league in rushing with 487 yards.
The Comets are currently in second, while Hillsboro is in fourth.
The Hilltoppers and Pat Keith's team played the most contested game in the league this week, with the Hilltoppers eventually emerging with a 27-21 victory.
