Football Recap: Foster's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Foster's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 24-6 win over the Alief Taylor Lions. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

When it comes to explaining why Alief Taylor lost, don't look at Hameer Shokunle. Despite the final result, he rushed for 79 yards and one TD.

Foster's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6. As for Alief Taylor, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Meanwhile, Alief Taylor is set to take on their familiar foe Strake Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Shokunle and John Hebert.
