Vince Yario put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Bartlett's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 2-1 (and 10-12-1 when he doesn't).

Yario's strong effort led Bartlett over Elgin and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
