Minco is 3-0 against Elmore City-Pernell since November of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Minco Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Elmore City-Pernell Badgers at 7:00 p.m. Minco will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Last Friday, Minco sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-28 win over Casady.
Jake Carruth was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was Ben Burchfield, who picked up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Elmore City-Pernell can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Healdton as Elmore City-Pernell made off with a 42-19 win.
Minco's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.8 points per game. As for Elmore City-Pernell, their victory bumped their record up to 5-5.
Everything came up roses for Minco against Elmore City-Pernell in their previous meeting back in November of 2019 as the squad secured a 41-7 victory. Does Minco have another victory up their sleeve, or will Elmore City-Pernell turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
