Penn Treaty pushed their score all the way to 59 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Hill Freedman World Academy by a score of 62-59. Penn Treaty has struggled against the recently, as their match on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Penn Treaty players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremiah Hagan, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hagan has scored all season. Heavon Washington was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Penn Treaty's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6. As for Hill Freedman World Academy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.
Penn Treaty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hill Freedman World Academy will head out on the road to take on the Vikings at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Northeast focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Wednesday.
