Last Friday, Asotin put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 28-7 margin over Colfax. Senior Logan Richardson was the offensive standout of the match for Asotin, as he rushed for 185 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, after constant struggles on the road, Liberty have finally found some success away from home. They put the hurt on Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Kahlotus with a sharp 36-15 victory. Liberty were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Asotin didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 16-21 to Liberty the last time the two teams met. The loss knocked Asotin out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Liberty with a vengeful fire.
