Cambridge Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Izzy Southerland, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and two steals. Southerland hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Jillian Mapes, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Cambridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Laurens Academy, the victory was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-1.
